VP
From ToonTask.com Guide

Welcome to the ultimate cog-toon conflict area. The VP Battle sees up to 8 toons fight the cogs through three rounds. From the entrance, your party of 8 is split into two teams of four (pro-rata if you've gone in with less than 8). You then walk down to the Initial VP Location. Here, the VP is dishing out some promotions to newly created cogs, but one thing goes wrong here - the toon you're rescuing lets it slip that you're toons!
Cog Battle
Green light to round 1. Here, each of the two teams will battle against wave after wave of cogs, which can be any sellbot cog, from Level 1 to Level 12. The first wave normally includes a Level 1 Cold Caller and a Level 12 Mr Hollywood. Battle as you normally battle cogs inside buildings, remembering to work as a team, and to preserve powerful gags for later. Each Gag used correctly will earn x2 Skill Points.
Before The Fight
Once both teams have defeated the waves of cogs, the VP will move up to the Entrance. Don't touch the VP, or let him run you over as you will lose 1 Laff. Once the VP arrives at the top, all remaining toons (hopefully all 8) are split into two new teams and you'll begin round 2.
Skelecog Battle
Round 2 sees you battle against wave after wave of skelecogs. These are normally higher in Level, and it's common to get rows of Level 12 cogs after each other. The VP will NOT send out any cog below level 7. Each Gag used correctly will earn x3 Skill Points. Remember to use toonup to repair any damage before the round is finished. A tell-tale sign that the end is near is when you have only 1/2/3 cogs.
Final Battle
Once round 2 is finished, you'll enter round 3 - the pie throwing round. The Shopkeeper will tell you the rules and the VP will try his best to send you back to the playground. Jump up to the toon to get your supply of cream pies. Then use the INS to attach the VP. The target here is to push the VP down the screen until he is pushed over the Cliff Location. It's not easy and needs two jobs.
VP Disabler - The first one is the VP Disbaler. The VP won't be affected by the pies as you throw it at him. So in order to do this job, throw a pie into the VP's undercarriage, or that box that the VP is standing on. This job can take part at the front of the VP or the back. Be careful as you do it though - gears will spring out of it and attack you!
Pie Thrower - The second is the Pie Thrower. Once the VP is dizzy, throw pies at him. This will give sufficent damage and send the VP back.
In Round 3 you can toon-up your friends by throwing pies at them, but this is slow and cumbersome - 1 Laff boost per pie! You could keep throing the pies at the Toon for a big boost.
The VP will get surprised by the Toon's strength and will try to fight back. Touch him and one laff is lost. This can also start the swiping. If you get swiped, 5 laff will be lost. Each gear thrown, either from the VP's Hand, the undercarriage, or from the VP's spin will make you lose 1-3 laff. Finally, watch out for the VP jumping. Once he lands, any toon on the ground will lose 10 Laff. If you don't stop him from jumping, he will roll up the ramp! The key to this is to jump as soon as the VP jumps. You can watch the VP jumping, or you can crank up the volume on your computer and 'listen' for the jumping. Also, sound effects must be enabled to hear the jumping noise.
NOTE: The VP WILL continue jumping if all Toons are away from him! Someone must run around him to stop the jumping. The more he jumps the more faster he rolls up the ramp!
Once the VP gets thrown off the cliff, you will dance! You get a SOS Card as a reward from the Rescued Toon, and you will teleport back to Daisy Gardens. You are not given a full promotion since the VP almost did, so you have to fight Sellbots to get more merits.
